On Friday, 11 June 2027, the Cassis Cultural Centre presents a musical evening:
CUMBIA CHICHARRA – Quinto Mundo
From their home port of Marseille to the colourful hills of Valparaíso, Cumbia Chicharra unleashes its joyful roar through the vibrant world of Afro-Latin music.
This Mediterranean collective has a remarkable talent for igniting infectious tropical rhythms. Their signature cumbia is infused with unexpected influences, blending Afrobeat, funk, psychedelic chicha and smoky dub into a vibrant urban fusion that is as original as it is exhilarating. ¡A gozar! Crossing borders and cultures with ease, the band brings together musical traditions from every horizon.
