On Friday, June 19, 2026, the Cassis Cultural Center invites you to an open-air evening to the rhythm of jazz music:
Christophe LELOIL – Trumpet
Rob CLEARFIELD – Piano
A misty, romantic, swinging, and virtuoso soundscape.
Marseille – Chicago… A compelling axis for anyone describing two of the most vibrant music scenes, each in the shadow of a cultural capital (Paris, New York) that tends to steal the media spotlight.
In Chicago, pianist Rob Clearfield built the foundations of a career that has led him to collaborate regularly with Makaya McCraven, Marquis Hill, Patricia Barber, Itamar Borochov, and Caroline Davis.
Christophe Leloil, a Normandy native now based in the South of France, has spent the past 20 years bringing the soft tones of his trumpet to stages all across Europe, alongside artists like Archie Shepp, André Ceccarelli, Raphaël Imbert, and Don Moye...
